Chris Tuttle


Chris Tuttle is a digital campaign strategist with more than 20 years of experience developing groundbreaking campaigns that reach and engage millions of people annually and training hundreds of nonprofit staff annually. As the former head of communications for GLSEN, a national education organization, Tuttle oversaw branding, marketing, media, digital, and design production efforts, including the development of more inclusive branding standards & protocols, that resulted in a 30% increase in online engagement & acquisition during his tenure. Highlights of Tuttle’s career include: developing the first national student organizing social network of 40,000 high school students, before Facebook; supporting the growth of high-school GSAs from 300 to 3,000 in the first two years; working with The Arcus Foundation to create the first-ever international Giving Day for Apes, raising more than 1.5 million dollars for wildlife sanctuaries to-date; as well as developing GLSEN’s Day of Silence, an annual campaign with more than half-a-million students participating in more than 5,000 K -12 schools.
