Currently I am the volunteer President of the all volunteer, Sister Cities of Durham. Previously I was the Director of Development and Communications at Bike Durham (22-24), Piedmont Wildlife Center (19-20) and Executive Director at Achievement Academy of Durham (16-18). More relevant to my pitch for a workshop is that I am a certified Gallup Strengthsfinder (now called Clifton Strengths) coach since 2014 – one of the first in NC. I mainly worked with nonprofit boards and staff, for example the Junior League of Durham and Orange County, Triangle Community Foundation, Triangle Land Conservancy and of course with the nonprofits with whom I worked.
